Staff
Each cabin is led by a minimum of one senior and one junior counselor. Counselors are carefully selected on the basis of maturity, experience, and ability to work with children. Prior to camp, the counselors attend a week long training session during which they learn from teachers, social workers, artists, Jewish Educators, counselors, medical staff, and child care experts. Many of our staff were formerly campers at CBF and have a strong commitment and enthusiasm for Judaism and Jewish camping.
Camp Ben Frankel employs a waterfront staff, each of which is certified in life guarding and water safety instruction. CBF also has an excellent kitchen staff led by a full time cook.
