Giborim (Heroes) Participants take part in all of our traditional Camp Ben Frankel programs but activities are geared to challenge their maturing minds and bodies. The special activities planned for this group will ensure a fun but safe program, incorporating watercraft, teams and ropes courses, rock climbing and camp crafts. |

Counselors-In-Training (C.I.T.) The program is especially geared to developing camp leaders. Special training sessions dealing with child care and child development, staff teamwork and creativity, Jewish identity, and values and personal responsibility are an important part of the program. The C.I.T.'s begin the camp experience with a multi-day hike/camp-out backpacking experience. During the session C.I.T.'s will have other special outings, such as a pool party or movie night in nearby Carbondale or Herrin. |
